A well-designed media unit can combine your television, storage and display space into one cohesive feature. Our media walls are made to measure on site, so the design can be adapted to your room's dimensions and layout.
We can incorporate a range of features to suit how you want to use the space, including:
This flexibility means we can create your media wall installation around your existing furniture and interior, or as part of a wider room transformation.
In addition to providing a dedicated position for your television, our media wall installations can add useful storage. Shelving and built-in cupboards can be incorporated into the design to help organise equipment, books, decorative items and other belongings.
Our carpenters can also consider the room's overall proportions when developing the installation, creating a feature that works with the available space rather than simply occupying it. The aim is to combine practical functionality with a finish that complements your home.
Custom media walls are primarily constructed using softwood and MDF, providing a versatile foundation that can be prepared for decoration. This allows the finished installation to be painted or decorated to coordinate with the surrounding interior.
We can also incorporate different materials, finishes and features depending on your requirements. From simple, understated designs to more detailed arrangements incorporating shelving and lighting, we can tailor the specification to your preferred look.
For media walls in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells, AHBS Carpentry provides a bespoke service from initial discussion through to installation. Our carpenters take the time to understand your requirements before creating a solution that suits your room, storage needs and preferred style.
