You do not always need to replace an entire staircase to transform its appearance. Our service includes renovating existing staircases by removing the current balustrade and newel posts before fitting new components to create a fresh, updated look.
You can choose from various options for your new wooden staircase features, so you can select a combination that complements your property. These can include:
Our carpenters can also clad existing treads and risers, providing an effective way to update the appearance of your staircase while retaining the existing structure where appropriate. We will discuss the available options with you and help establish the specification for your project.
Where an existing staircase is no longer suitable for your requirements, we can provide and fit a completely custom staircase. This involves removing the existing staircase, including the current balustrades, spindles and associated components, ready for the new installation.
If required, we can also reconfigure the existing stairwell opening to accommodate the new staircase. This provides greater flexibility where you want to change the layout or achieve a different staircase design within the available space.
Our carpenters will discuss your requirements before work begins, helping you establish the style, materials and configuration that are appropriate for your property.
Every staircase forms an important part of a property's interior, so we take care to understand how you want the finished installation to look and function. Whether you are modernising an existing staircase or planning a complete replacement, we can provide a tailored service from initial discussion through to installation.
